Nana Boroo Hits Back at Okraku Mantey
For music producer Okraku Mantey Ghana's Artist of the year Sarkodie is to be blamed for the disqualification of the R2Bees hit song "Agyeii" from the 2012 VGMA's.Okraku mantey pointly accused sarkodie for using profane lyrics in his part of the track which he doesn't use in his own music.talking to the graphic showbiz okraku mantey said Sarkodie is not noted for singing profane so he was surprised he came up with those lyrics on Agyei.
“If Daddy Lumba or A.B Crenstil did that, it wouldn’t have come as a surprise but coming from Sarkodie is shocking. He would naturally not use profane lyrics in his own songs.
“Anyway, I wouldn’t put all the blame on Sarkodie. R2bees should have known better than to allow Sarkodie to use such words on their work”, he added.
Nana Boroo who also featured on the track has also hit back at the music producer saying " Okraku should come again,he knows the industry better,is he trying to pick on sarkodie.we have had worst lyrics than sarkodie's Rap,we just wanted a hit music and that's what we had.the track wasn't meant for award it was for hit.thats it" meanwhile R2bees is said to be in london for a tour with agyeii
